About Me

Hey there! I’m Chloe Erickson, thank you so much for looking at my portfolio! I was born here in Bismarck, North Dakota. I moved around a lot in my life, but for the past eight years I’ve been living here in my hometown. I am naturally a creative person and I have the artistic skills to prove it. I took multiple art classes in my high school years and found my love for graphic design when I took a class in, wouldn’t you believe it, graphic design! I’m skilled in the big three softwares: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I’ve taken big interest in photography. I am an organized person and I always pay attention to details. I strive to be an amazing graphic designer and illustrator. I am very passionate about my work and I will work hard and make sure clients will get their dream design.

Recent Work

The works below are some of my featured projects for my portfolio.

After Effects Animated Logo

My first time using After Effects, and any sort of animation at all. I made my logo into an animation, or bumper. I decided to use one of my color variations of my logo, using of the versions that had more life.

PremierePro Video

Also my first time using Premiere Pro to create a 30 to 60 second video about something educational, entertainment, or promotional. I chose to edit a clip of myself playing Minecraft with some friends.

Book Cover

Digital drawing created in Procreate then implemented into Photoshop to create my very own book cover. This is one of my own characters I created based off of a book series, Wings of Fire.

Product Illustration

Using Illustrator to recreate a product from raster to vector. This placed 2nd in our spring show in 2023 for the product illustration section. My inspiration behind this project was my grandma on my mother’s side. She loves teapots and I wanted to make something for her. I printed out and framed this project and gave it to her as a gift.

Slow Shutter Speed

Capturing a slow shutter speed photo. This placed 1st in our spring show in 2023 for the slow shutter speed section. The photo was inspired by, and featuring, my amazing mother.

Hink Pink

Vector illustration of only points and lines using Illustrator. First started with thumbnails and developed into a traditional drawing. Later the drawing was finalized with a sharpie before scanning it into Illustrator. Can you guess what my hink pink is?

Personal Logo

Using Illustrator to create my own personal logo. I have six different designs for my logo, but this one is best used for web and printing. I remade my logo from an old personal logo I made a few years prior in a graphic design class I took in high school.

Create a Monster

Using clipping mask layers in Photoshop to create a monster using at least six different animals. Can you guess which ones I used?
