We recently had a student who couldn’t select any fonts in InDesign shortly after we switched to the Creative Cloud. They vanished. After some detective work by Jason, he discovered where our fonts disappeared to and brought them back. See the screen shots below for the solution:

When selecting a font only Minion Pro would appear. No other fonts were available

The culprit was the “Apply Favorite Filter ” icon had been selected.

The solution is to click twice on the “Clear Filter” icon and Voila! your fonts are back.
